I have followed the instructions in the ESU program guide (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/windows-10-consumer-extended-security-updates-esu-program-33e17de9-36b3-43bb-874d-6c53d2e4bf42).
I have Windows 10, version 22H2 Home with the latest update (KB5062649 on 27/7/25).
I am logged in with a Windows administrator account.
I look under Settings > Update & Security >Windows Update but there is no Enrol Now or Enrol in ESU option (that the guide says should be present).
Please can you advise?

mf it's 8/27/25 have windows 10 64 bit 22H2. all updates installed, administrator account. no link to esu program on update page . why?

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. ESU for consumers will be gradually rolled out which means that it will not yet be available to everyone and it will be first released to users on Insider and then to the selected PC's and then by mid August it should be readily available and also ensure that you have met the requirements and you can also refer to the below link for the complete information.

By the way, I have checked the prerequisite requirements and I believe that I have met them.

The ESU license is tied to your Microsoft account, so you may be prompted to sign in if you typically sign into Windows with a local account

Hi,
Do we know when the rollout is supposed to be complete? I'm still not seeing the enrolment options and starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my PC or account. The page explaining how to enroll just mention it's being rolled out, but we don't know how long that will take.

I have the same issue. I have verified I meet all the requirements, and it is the middle of August, yet no options for ESU show up for me.

This is still in the roll out phase and this will be available for everyone at least by end of this month.

It's now 28th August 2025 and still no ESU button/option, my PC complies with all the requirements to receive it, so do we know when this will be offered to UK users please?
