Can you change the background on individual chats in Teams? ( to help readily identify who you are chatting with )

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum with your suggestion regarding chat background customization in Microsoft Teams.

At present, Microsoft Teams does not support changing the background for individual chats or group conversations.

There is currently no built-in functionality to set custom background colors or images for specific chat threads or contacts. This limitation has been noted by other users as well, and while Teams offers some design themes, they do not extend to per-chat visual customization.  

As part of the Microsoft 365 Q&A Community Support team, my role is to help clarify how our products work, guide you through available features, and assist with any challenges you encounter.
