One-Time Microsoft Office liscense needs to be transferred to a new MacBook, But my old MacBook is non-functional so I cannot deactivate it from original client computer. The account is the same

If this is a one time license of Office and it was still activated on the old device, you will need to reach out to the support team from the below to get it unlinked and then after that you also check the links below for the guided steps to reinstall Office that you have.

• Open https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=Google from a browser or you can also launch the Get help app on your PC.
• Type in talk to support or talk to an agent.
• Click on the blue button (Sign in or Sign in to contact support) on the below part.
• Sign in/Log in when prompted and try to connect to an agent/support from there and please take note that it will take several attempts due to the queue or workload before you can get a hold of someone from the team.
