where are the autocorrect settings on Outlook for mac?

I've been using the same short sequence of characters for two years to autogenerate a whole sentence in Outlook. I use it multiple times a day and it's been a real time-saver! Today it's no longer working. Lots of searching, but nowhere can I find where to change these settings in my version of Outlook.

I don't have Outlook > Preferences.

What's going on? Is my version of Outlook really that unique? Why is it suddenly not working?

    Hi! I understand your situation, unfortunately, current this option isn't available on New Outlook for Mac, but you could try the steps on the next post from Tina Hanna to allow the native options work inside Outlook for now:
