    Hello Izz,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I see that the battery icon is not showing on Windows 11 taskbar. It could mean that Windows is not detecting the battery properly. May I know when was the last time that the battery icon showed up? For the meantime, here's what you can do.

    1. Open Device Manager by right clicking the Windows icon > choose device manager > then expand the batteries section. You should see: Microsoft AC Adapter and/or Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery. If they are missing, it's a possbile driver or hardware problem.
    2. Enable the battery icon in taskbar settings. Search settings on the search tab > personalization > taskbar > other system tray icons and make sure the power toggle is turned on.
    3. Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit app to check for hardware and driver issues.
    4. Run a Windows Update and check if there is surface firmware udpates via the surfcae app or windows update page.
