    Hi,

I finished the steps recommended by you, but I'm still facing the same issue. Plus I'm unable to login to teams app, word or excel. If I try to log-in I'm getting a secure code from the same previous company and the app wouldn't accept this secure code. refer the screenshotsScreenshot 2025-08-09 at 8.06.40 PM

    Hi @Rohith

Based on your description and the verification email from the Ministry of Communication, it appears that your Microsoft account is still linked to your previous organization's Azure AD tenant. This is why you're being prompted for a secure code from that organization, even though you're no longer part of it.

Step 1: Remove the organization link from your Microsoft account

Please follow these steps to leave the old organization:

    1. Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations
    2. Sign in with your current account
    3. If you see Ministry of Communication listed, click Leave organization

If you're unable to leave the organization due to permission restrictions, you may need to contact the IT administrator of your previous company to remove your account from their Azure AD tenant.

Step 2: Clear saved credentials on your Mac

To ensure no cached credentials are interfering:

    1. Open Keychain Access (Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access)
    2. Search for entries containing:
      • Microsoft Teams
      • Office
      • ADAL or MSAL
    3. Right-click and Delete these entries

You can also refer to this guide for removing old Teams accounts on Mac:
How do I delete an old Teams account on Mac? - Microsoft Q&A

Step 3: Sign in again with your current account

    After clearing credentials:

    • Reopen Microsoft Teams, Word, or Excel
    • Sign in using your current organization account
    • Ensure that no MFA prompt from the previous organization appears

Please let me know if you're able to leave the organization or if you encounter any errors during the process. I’ll be happy to assist further.

    Hi @Rohith
Thank you for your patience and for providing additional details. Based on the information you've shared, here are the next steps you can take:

    1. Contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to verify the following:
    • License assignment:
Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Users > Active users > [Your's account].
Confirm that the Business Standard license is assigned and that the service plans (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Office Apps) are enabled.

    Usage location:
Ensure that the Usage location is set correctly for the account.

    Sign-in policy:
Check that the account is not set to Blocked sign-in.
Review Sign-in logs and Conditional Access policies to rule out any unintended restrictions.
Perform Revoke sessions to refresh the authentication token.

    1. Coordinate with your Proarch partner:
    • Confirm that the subscription is active, and there are no issues such as suspension or payment errors.
