Hello @Brown, Peter F,
Thank you for posting your valuable question on Microsoft Q&A forum.
Batch exporting OneNote files to another format (like PDF, Word, or plain text) isn't natively supported in bulk through the OneNote app itself, but there are some workarounds depending on your setup and goals:
Use OneNote Desktop
You can export individual notebooks or sections manually:
- Open the notebook in OneNote.
- Go to File > Export.
- Choose to export as:
- Word Document (.docx)
- OneNote Package (.onepkg)
Third-Party Tools
You can find Microsoft's third-party tools that support Batch Export on Business Apps – Microsoft AppSource.
Kindly be aware that continued use of certain apps may involve a fee.
I know this limitation can cause inconvenience to some users. I encourage you to submit feedback and upvote existing feature requests to show demand from the community at OneNote · Community. The Product Team is in-charge of the feedback site, and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customer. Many features have been developed or improved based on users' comment.
In the meantime, you can check Microsoft 365 Roadmap for updating features in the future. I will also forward your feedback to the appropriate team for further consideration.
Thank you for your understanding so far!
