Azure AI Foundry - don't see quote

Hi all,

We have just created a new Subscription with an Enterprise Agreement, and when we created Azure AI Foundry and tried to deploy a model like GPT 4.1, it stated that there is not enough TPM in any EU region. It happened because we had already deployed, but in a different subscription and under "pay as you go" subscription model. However, as soon as we have a new subscription with EA, we should have 2M TPM instead of 300k as described in the documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-foundry/openai/quotas-limits?tabs=REST#gpt-41-series-data-zone-standard

For this subscription, I cannot see any quote, even though I'm the owner.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

Quotas aren’t always provisioned automatically. Microsoft often requires you to request quota for Azure OpenAI separately, even if you have a quota in another subscription.

Request quota allocation

In Azure Portal: Azure OpenAI → Quota blade → “+ Request quota” (or Manage quotas).

Pick EU region and GPT-4.1 family (or other needed model families).

Request the TPM value you want (up to 2M TPM for EA baseline, but you can request more if the business case allows).

Wait for Microsoft approval

Quota requests for Azure OpenAI aren’t instant. It can take 1–7 business days.
You’ll get an email or portal notification once granted.

thank you for fast response.

I'm trying to find the Quota blade in Azure OpenAI that you said, but I cannot find.

Is this "Quota blade" on some another page?

I hope you are not Copilot or you don't use Copilot since I spent a lot of time talking with Copilot and it didn't help me with it :)

You can create a Quota increase request either via the request form or from the portal.

Request Form:

Please use the link in the document provided above.

From Portal:

Open an online customer support request. When requesting for endpoint limit increase, provide the following information:

When opening the support request, select Service and subscription limits (quotas) as the Issue type.

Select the subscription of your choice.

Select Cognitive Services as Quota type.

Select Next.

On the Additional details tab, you need to provide detailed reasons for the limit increase in order for your request to be processed. Be sure to add the following information into the reason for limit increase:

Model name, model version (if applicable), and deployment type (SKU).

Description of your scenario and workload.

Rationale for the requested increase.

Provide the target throughput: Tokens per minute, requests per minute, etc.

Provide a planned time plan (by when you need increased limits).

Finally, select Save and continue to continue.

I opened a ticket 7 days ago in the old way:

And after that, few days ago, I opened ticket from portal, but they told me:
I’ve checked the backend and can confirm that the quota request is currently in the availability check phase.

I still do not see DataZoneStandard:

The “availability check phase” means that Microsoft is validating whether your subscription can be granted quota for the DataZoneStandard deployment type, which is part of Azure AI Foundry’s data zone SKUs. During this phase, the option will not appear in the portal until the request is approved and capacity is confirmed. This process typically takes several business days and depends on both subscription eligibility and available capacity in the requested data zone (US or EU).

To expedite the process, ensure your support ticket includes the model name and version, the requested deployment type (DataZoneStandard), target data zone, throughput requirements (TPM/RPM), and a clear business justification. If your workload allows, you can temporarily use Global Standard while waiting for approval, or explore Data Zone Provisioned for guaranteed capacity. If you need to strengthen your escalation, include capacity API results and a detailed ramp plan in your ticket.
