well my windows 7 surface pro screen is broken and if i try to connect it to my monitor nothing works! is there a way i can factory reset it and then connect it to my monitor

    Hi Luke,

    Try connecting the monitor and pressing Windows + P repeatedly to cycle through display modes like “Second screen only.” Wait a few seconds between presses to see if the external display activates.
