This is a well known Tech Support Scam, that is not Microsoft Support you were dealing with.
Did you give the scammers remote access to your PC and also, did you provide them with access to your bank account?

Screen froze . Rang shown number on screen. Told have been hacked so they asked me to provide assistance tocatch hackers. They sent money for me to buy apple cards.
