Thank you for reaching us, Possible the portable monitor is not getting enough power. Please check the connection of you Acer portable monitor make sure power cords are connected both end to get enough power. Try to update the driver of your Surface Pro 11. Turn off and disconnect the Acer portable monitor from the Surface Pro 11. If you don't have SURFACE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL KIT yet
please download this in Microsoft Website. Open any browser then go to "https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nf1mr6c60zf?hl=en-us&gl=US". Download and install the "Surface Diagnostic Toolkit". Once install launch Surface Diagnostic Toolkit app and Run full scan (It will automatically start scanning your Surface pro for Hardware and Software driver issue. Once update is completed restart your Surface Pro 11 then reconnect your Acer portable monitor and check if it now syncing from your Surface Pro 11.
