I'm in Australian and I run Windows 10 Pro on my PC and have installed the August update KB5063709 but I'm still not getting the Extended Securities Update offer link. Has it not been rolled out in Australia yet? Or do I need to take some other action? Or is my PC ineligible?

    Dear Thomas Alexander,

The August 2025 cumulative update KB5063709 was designed to prepare eligible Windows 10 devices for ESU enrollment ahead of the October 14, 2025 end-of-support date. This update includes a fix for a known issue where the “Enroll Now” link in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update was not appearing or would crash upon launch for some users.

    • Availability: The ESU enrollment wizard is now broadly available for consumer editions of Windows 10 version 22H2, including Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations.

Region Support: The ESU program is available globally, including Australia. There are no regional restrictions for consumer enrollment.

Eligibility: Your PC must be running an activated copy of Windows 10 version 22H2. If you're still on version 21H2, you may need to update using EKB KB5015684.

    1. Verify Windows Version Go to Settings > System > About and confirm you're running Windows 10 version 22H2 with Build 19045.6216.
    2. Check for ESU Enrollment Link Navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Look for the “Enroll Now” link in the sidebar or main update panel.
    3. Restart and Recheck If the link is not visible, restart your PC and check again. Some users have reported that the link appears after a reboot or after checking for updates manually.
    4. Ensure Activation Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and confirm your copy of Windows is activated.

Thanks Harry. But I'm not getting this 'Enroll' link. I'm running Windows 10 22H2 I have set backup to OneDrive and I'm a Microsoft 365 subscriber. But no link.

    Same problem. Also in Australia.

I have a desktop (Pro) and a laptop (Home). Both meet Harry's eligibility requirements - one with Windows 10 version 22H2 with Build 19045.6216 the other with Build 19045.6218.

No ESU enroll link as yet (rebooted a few minutes ago just to be sure).

Has Microsoft set a date by which every PC which is eligible should have received the ESU link?

It seems that the ESU is not available for everyone yet, per this article:-

Looks like we could have a bit of a wait.
