Hello, since 1 week this campaign is running actively. I can see clicks and conversions are tracked at the statistics. But the conversions are incorrect.

my account id ********

campaign: ****

when i look at the products level report, filtered by "Conversions" we can see which products are related to a conversion.

Same when looking at the searched keyword report.

in example if we check the overview report for yesterday 15.08.2025 it shows 2x Conversions for that campaign.

On products level is shown 2 conversions for the following products:

"Original Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G OLED Display Touch + Rahmen Grau SM-S918B"

and "Original Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi Display Touchscreen SM-T733"

when checking the searched keywords report, i can see they match to the products.

"samsung tab s7 fe 5g display" and "samsung s23 ultra 256gb display price in germany"

But I compared these informations with our sales in shopify. None of these tracked conversions match to our real sales. None of these indicated products was purchased in reality.

I also checked the "abandoned checkout" in shopify. There are no orders related to these products.

At the settings of this campaign i specified to count only a spefific conversion goal. ==> GTM | Kauf

As i only want to count real purchase.

But for some reason it seems not to be tracked correctly. Still we can see incorrect conversion tracking.

Can you help me to fix this?

    Hello Market Ing,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform and for sharing the details with us regarding the conversion tracking issue.

From what you described, it seems that the system is attributing conversions that do not match your actual sales in Shopify.

One potential factor that can affect accurate conversion tracking is whether Consent Mode has been correctly implemented. If Consent Mode is not in place, this may lead to discrepancies between what is tracked in Microsoft Advertising and your actual purchase data.

To ensure conversions are tracked as accurately as possible, I would recommend reviewing and implementing Consent Mode. You can find more information and setup instructions in our official help documentation here:

I would be happy to review your account setup with you and find the best possible solution so that only the correct conversion goal is being counted. Please let me know a good time for us to go through this together.

I hope the information provided here will at least partly answer your question.  If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support. I have also sent you a private message asking for further details. You are more than welcome to respond to me so I can begin the investigation on my end.

    Regards,
