the windows have more than one keyboard language layout

Hi!

The language bar (Win + Space) lists them all, even if you didn’t add them. That’s why you see more than just Vietnamese Telex, even though Telex is the only one you actually installed.

There is a possible workaround for this (not 100% accurate fix, as mentioned the language bar lists them all by default)

Here are the steps:

1. Go to language settings a. Press Win + I → Time & language → Language & region. b. Under Preferred languages, click Vietnamese → Language options.
2. Remove extra keyboards a. Under Keyboards, you should see Vietnamese Telex plus others like “Vietnamese Number Key” or “Vietnamese Traditional”. b. Remove all except Vietnamese Telex.
3. Check advanced keyboard settings a. Go back to Time & language → Typing → Advanced keyboard settings. b. Make sure “Let me use a different input method for each app window” is off (so the system won’t auto-switch). c. In “Override for default input method,” set it to Vietnamese Telex (or your normal English keyboard if that’s primary).

Try checking this setting:

Check Language/Keyboard settings

1. Press Win + I → Time & Language → Language & region
2. Click Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt) → ... (three dots)→ Language options.

Under Keyboards, make sure only Vietnamese Telex is listed.

If others (like Vietnamese Number key) are listed, remove them.

I'am referring to (Win + Space) which displays multiple Vietnamese language layouts. (this is the one that you to display 1 entry only)

idk why my windows now doesn't show two type of keyboard maybe it's from windows update, however this problem may solved
