Hi!
The language bar (Win + Space) lists them all, even if you didn’t add them. That’s why you see more than just Vietnamese Telex, even though Telex is the only one you actually installed.
There is a possible workaround for this (not 100% accurate fix, as mentioned the language bar lists them all by default)
Here are the steps:
- Go to language settings a. Press Win + I → Time & language → Language & region. b. Under Preferred languages, click Vietnamese → Language options.
- Remove extra keyboards a. Under Keyboards, you should see Vietnamese Telex plus others like “Vietnamese Number Key” or “Vietnamese Traditional”. b. Remove all except Vietnamese Telex.
- Check advanced keyboard settings a. Go back to Time & language → Typing → Advanced keyboard settings. b. Make sure “Let me use a different input method for each app window” is off (so the system won’t auto-switch). c. In “Override for default input method,” set it to Vietnamese Telex (or your normal English keyboard if that’s primary).
Let me know once done so we can check it
