A fast Wi-Fi connection is available, but Windows will not connect to the internet and shows "no internet, secured." Various troubleshooting steps have been attempted, including:

  • Running the internet diagnostic tool (which indicated an app is needed)
  • Removing and replugging the Wi-Fi adapter
  • Resetting the Wi-Fi adapter
  • Restarting the WLAN AutoConfig service
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the WLAN adapter

None of these actions resolved the issue. Further assistance is needed.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. I’m happy to help.

When did the issue start, and were there any changes made to your computer before that?

Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

In the meantime, please try the steps below:

Press Windows + X and choose Windows PowerShell (admin).

Copy and paste the command below(one at a time) and press ENTER.

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Netsh winsock reset

    net localgroup administrators localservice /add

    fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\

netsh int ip reset resetlog .txt

    netsh winsock reset all

    netsh int 6to4 reset all

    netsh int ip reset all

    netsh int ipv4 reset all

    netsh int ipv6 reset all

    netsh int httpstunnel reset all

    netsh int isatap reset all

    netsh int portproxy reset all

    netsh int tcp reset all

    netsh int teredo reset all

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    Restart your PC and check.
