Hi! The auto-rotation feature depends on the accelerometer and chipset drivers. Since HP has removed some older drivers from their support page, Windows Update might not install them automatically.

    1. Open Device Manager > Right-click on each device with a yellow exclamation > Properties > Details tab > choose Hardware Ids from the dropdown.
    2. Copy the first string (e.g., PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_22DC…).
    3. Use that ID to search for the correct driver (Intel/HP/Windows Update Catalog).
    4. Install Intel Chipset, Intel Sensor Hub, Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework (DPTF), and HP 3D DriveGuard / Motion Sensor drivers, those usually control rotation.
