device name - HP pavilion 13s102tu. Recently I updated my hard drive to ssd. After updating, I installed windows but rotation of the system is not working how to resolve that?
HP has removed the driver software from website, so I haven't installed drivers. Will it cause problems? how to check whether all necessary necessary drivers are installed?
My older hard drive has a recovery partition but I don't know how to install windows from there. Could someone guide me about the process?
In device manager, some drivers are showing yellow with exclamation mark, why so and how to resolve?

Hi! The auto-rotation feature depends on the accelerometer and chipset drivers. Since HP has removed some older drivers from their support page, Windows Update might not install them automatically.

Open Device Manager > Right-click on each device with a yellow exclamation > Properties > Details tab > choose Hardware Ids from the dropdown.
Copy the first string (e.g., PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_22DC…).
Use that ID to search for the correct driver (Intel/HP/Windows Update Catalog).
Install Intel Chipset, Intel Sensor Hub, Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework (DPTF), and HP 3D DriveGuard / Motion Sensor drivers, those usually control rotation.

Could you please be more specific about how the steps didn’t help? Also, could you explain in more detail what happens with the rotation when you try to use this function?

problem with missing drivers is resolved.

auto rotation problem is not resolved. I have checked all the drivers you mentioned. All are there and reinstalled again, but auto-rotation is not working.

Sensor test passed.

one more thing, sometime autorotation automatically unlocked, and screen rotated to portrait mode and keyboad & mouse stop responding. to get rid of it I have to restart the PC after restart it again rotation lock.

Could it be related to an issue with the SSD somehow?

The drivers that you showed in the first screenshot, don't have the yellow warning anymore or you still have some of those, failing SSD, don't see any connection with the gyroscope, unless there's a hardware malfunction on the mother board that could be affecting both components, best course of action at this point will be to contact the manufacturer, to confirm the hardware situation.

I tested the hardware using HP diagnostic tool. Each component passed the test.

Then I reset the system to factory stage and then installed windows version in sequences wise. Now auto-rotation starts working.

but I observed two times that without rotating the device, it's screen rotated to upside down which again resolved by restart. Could you say what should be the reason behind?

The random upside down rotation you’re seeing is usually caused by miscalibrated or unstable sensor drivers (accelerometer/gyroscope or Intel Sensor Hub). Even though diagnostics passed, the sensor may briefly misreport orientation, which can also freeze input when Windows switches to tablet mode, however, better knowledge about the device components and why they might misbehave, only the manufacturer can know for sure, is better to contact them.
