Need to sort this 'screen sender' for mobile phone

Other than 'trusted' email already in place, I simply WANT all emails to go straight to junk/spam folder so I can decide later if they are to be trusted, deleted or reported. Every time I look at my email, I keep finding this annoying 'screen new sender'. It's disruptive... it does not allow me to put it in the junk folder instead of 'allowed' or 'blocked'. If I don't respond to the prompt, it simply clogs up my 'inbox' folder. I have Outlook app on my Samsung S25+ phone.

PLEASE, HOTMAIL - REVERT IT TO HOW IT WAS!

    Good day! I totally get how annoying that "screen new sender" thing can be on your Samsung S25+. It's certainly understandable how this function can disrupt your email management workflow.

    Right now, the feature is built into Outlook’s filtering system and can’t be fully turned off, but you can work around it so messages go straight to Junk:

    Open the message > tap the three dots (…) > select Move to Junk.

    From the Junk folder, tap the message again > choose Block sender.

    You can also add the address to Blocked Senders in Settings > Mail > Junk email.

    Once you do this, Outlook should start routing similar emails directly to your Junk folder without showing the “Screen new sender” prompt.

    Would you like me to also guide you on adjusting your focused inbox and filtering rules? These can help reduce inbox clutter even further.

    I hope this helps streamline your email experience. Please let me know if the steps work for you, or if you’d like me to walk you through a specific setting on your Samsung S25+.

    @RuthMayB

    Thank you for your time in answering my question. Yes and no, but it's disappointing to hear that it can’t be fully turned off.

    It's disruptive! Why can't Microsoft just leave it alone? It worked perfectly fine before when previously unlisted emails were sent automatically to the junk folder, so I could look at them later and decide who's trusted or not.

    This new 'screen sender' is like 'Do you want fries with that'... It's a pointless task devised by Microsoft; it's disruptive, stressful and annoying.... Why reinvent a wheel and turn it into a square wheel !!
