/default URL being requested every few seconds from Azure

Every few seconds all the time Azure makes requests to the temporary Azure domain, eating up resources and error logs.

https://xxxxxxxx.australiaeast-01.azurewebsites.net/default

We do not have a health monitor or alert for this URL. Where can we disable or investigate this URL request to our site? It should be using the custom domain and not an internal AzureWebsites.net address too?

It appears that you're dealing with unwanted requests to the default Azure domain, which can use up resources and create unnecessary error logs.

If Azure Application Gateway is in use, make sure it's not redirecting traffic to the default Azure domain. It should be set to use your custom domain.

Health probes may sometimes point to the default URL. Check your configuration and update any probes to target your custom domain.

Confirm that your custom domain is correctly set up in Azure App Service, is the primary domain, and that the default domain is blocked if not needed.

Turn on detailed logging in Azure App Service to get more information about these requests and help identify their source.
