Upgrade PostgreSQL flexible server from 16.8 to 17 with PostGIS installed

Hello!
We are running a PostgreSQL flexible server version 16.8 with the PostGIS extension enabled.
When we attempt to upgrade the flexible server to 17 we are stopped with an error indicating that the installed PostGIS version not being supported on PostgreSQL 17.
Opening up the db, we are unable to upgrade the PostGIS version further since our current installation already uses the latest PostGIS versions available for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (16.8).
How can I upgrade my flexible server?

I request you to please try to add the schema names in which the PostGIS extension is enabled in the search_path server parameter and try to upgrade the server version and do let me know the update.  -

After working with the team they confirmed that few databases in the server are not supporting the version 17, when postgis is enabled
Kindly please upgrade your server after the scheduled maintenance activity done by us on August 27th.
