    Hi @Kally Kedinger-Cecil,

Good day! Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and sharing the detail.

Regarding the issue where the “Join Now” button in Microsoft Teams appears inactive, even when you are the meeting organizer, I understand how disruptive this can be to your workflow. To assist you effectively, please follow these troubleshooting steps and letting me know the outcome for each, so that we can proceed further if needed:

    • Please ensure that you select an audio option on the pre-join screen, such as “Computer audio” or “Don’t use audio.” In some cases, the Join Now button only becomes active after an audio choice has been made.
    • Try scheduling a new meeting (or a different type of meeting) to confirm whether the problem occurs consistently or only in specific meetings.
    • Clear the Teams application cache:
    • On Windows: close Teams completely, navigate to %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and delete the contents of the folder. Then restart Teams and sign in again.
    • On Mac: quit Teams, go to ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams, remove the cache contents, and relaunch Teams.
    • Verify your system’s date and time settings are accurate and configured to update automatically for your time zone.
    • If the desktop app continues to show the issue, test joining via the Teams web app or the Teams mobile app to confirm whether this works as a workaround.

Additionally, please check whether the issue happens with all meetings or is limited to specific ones. Meetings created outside your organization or with particular security settings may behave differently.

If your environment uses security software, mail gateways, or URL filtering, please consult with your IT department to ensure that Teams meeting URLs are not blocked or rewritten, as this can also affect the Join Now button.

Kindly try the recommendations above and update me on the results. If the issue persists, please provide a recent screenshot (if possible) and confirm whether this affects all meetings or only certain ones.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
