Hello,

I'm trying to create a new Microsoft Advertising account in Japan, but the currency is automatically set to USD and I can't change it to Japanese Yen (JPY).

Here is what I've already checked:

  • My Microsoft account country/region is set to Japan.
  • The business location is set to Japan.
  • The language setting is Japanese.
  • I selected “To promote this business” as the primary purpose (not as an agency).
  • My IP address is located in Japan.
  • I have tried clearing cache, using incognito mode, and switching browsers.

Despite all this, the currency remains locked to USD during account creation.

Could someone please help me understand why this is happening, and how I can create an account with JPY as the currency?
