You've used an incorrect account or password too many times. If it's an organization account, it might not be active yet.

I always get this error. How can I solve it. I changed the password. I tried to sign in with the new password but I still get the same problem again.

    Hi,

    I understand that you are unable to log in due to the multiple password attempts. There may be an issue with your browser, current Outlook app, or device. It could also be locked due to multiple password or login attempts.

    Please try the solutions below. If the solutions do not help, please proceed to the next step.

    1. Please check if you have enabled VPN or Proxy. Please disable them.
    2. Try to restart your modem or router.
    3. Try accessing different browsers, devices, or networks, like mobile data.
    4. Try to sign in again after 24 hours. Please refrain from login attempts within 24 hours. To ensure adequate waiting time, it is advisable to extend the waiting period slightly.
    5. If you still experience the same issue after 24 hours, it's possible that your account has been blocked due to suspicious activity.
      Unblock my Outlook.com account

    If you have made too many login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked for security reasons. It is best to wait at least 24 hours without trying again, and then attempt a password reset using a device and location that are familiar to you. Double-check that you are entering the correct email address linked to the account. If you are still not receiving the reset link, your recovery options may need to be updated, or the account might not be active yet, especially if it is associated with an organization.

    I waited for 24 hours. Resetting password still doesn't work. Again, it gives me the same problem. I don't have any problem with receiving the password reset link. The only problem i have is getting this "We can't sign you in. You've used an incorrect account or password too many times. If it's an organization account, it might not be active yet." while logging.
