Port settings tab missing for serial port

I have a Keyspan USB to serial adapter that defaults to wrong port number. When attaching the adapter, the port settings tab is missing, so I cannot change port number in properties. I have tried both the last available driver, and an old driver. Both are without the tab. How can I enable the tab?
