    Good day @D, Vinoth Kanna

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

At first, to make sure we are aligned and I can provide the most appropriate answer for you, could I confirm some details:

    • Are users experiencing lag only during Teams calls, or in other apps too?
    • Did the audio/video calls work normally for these users before?
    • Are other users in different regions (e.g., Asia) experiencing similar issues?

    1. Check Network Performance: Ask affected users to run a speed test and check latency to Microsoft Teams servers. You can use Microsoft 365 network connectivity test for this.

    2. Verify Teams Optimization

Your Teams needs to be properly optimized for virtual desktops.

Please follow detailed guidance in this article to optimize your virtual desktop experience

    3. Confirm Local Client Setup

If users are connecting from outdated or underpowered devices, performance may suffer.

Please kindly check if users are using the latest Remote Desktop client and that their local machines meet the minimum requirements.

    4. Review Regional Infrastructure

Windows 365 Cloud PCs are hosted in Azure data centers. If a user in the USA is connected to a Cloud PC hosted in a faraway region (like Europe or Asia), it can cause latency, leading to lag in Teams calls.

Compare the region to the user’s physical location:

    • If a user in Florida is connected to a Cloud PC in West Europe, that’s a red flag.
    • Relocate the Cloud PC (if needed):
    • You can reassign or recreate the Cloud PC in a closer region (e.g., East US or South Central US).
      • This may require coordination with your IT admin or Microsoft support.

    5. Update Teams and Windows

Outdated software can cause compatibility and performance issues.

Please Make sure both Teams and Windows are updated on the Cloud PC and local device.

Hope for your patience while we work through this
