Every time I try to sign into my email, I put my password in and then it just signs me out every time so I can't open my email.

    Hi Corley Leffin

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that you're experiencing an issue where Outlook signs you out immediately after entering your password, preventing access to your email.

To better assist you, could you please help clarify a few details:

    • Have you been able to sign in and use Outlook normally before, or is this a new setup? If it worked previously, did this issue start after a recent macOS or Outlook update
    • Which version of macOS and Outlook are you currently using?
    • Have you tried signing in via Outlook Web (https://outlook.office.com) to see if the issue persists there?
    • Have you recently changed your account password

While waiting for your update, here are a few suggestions you can try:

Sometimes saved credentials in macOS Keychain can cause sign-in issues.

    1. Open Spotlight Search and type Keychain Access, then open the app.
    2. Search for entries like "Outlook" or "Exchange"
    3. Delete any saved credentials related to your email account.
    4. Restart Outlook and try signing in again.

I look forward to your update so we can continue troubleshooting together!
