My Word APP on my phone capitalizes every "i" at the start of words.

I see people had this problem with their computer, but the solutions don't work since I'm using Word on my phone. I tried turning off "auto format" in the settings and it didn't solve it.

    Hey there!

Nice to meet you! I'm Randy, an Independent Advisor.

Hi Joliane, On Word mobile, the auto-capitalization usually comes from your phone’s keyboard, not the app itself. To fix it, go to your phone’s keyboard settings and turn off Auto-Capitalization (on iPhone: Settings > General > Keyboard, on Android: Settings > System > Languages & Input > On-screen Keyboard). Also, in the Word app, check Settings > Proofing and disable Capitalize first letter of sentences or AutoCorrect.

    Hope that this helps,

    Best regards,
