Hello!
My company has an automation that starts up some of our lower development environments every morning and shuts them down every evening, so that we don't have these environments fully online when no one is using them. Over the last few days, starting 8/18/2025, we've received an error trying to turn some of our application gateways on in eastus2. We get the following error message:
Start-AzApplicationGateway : Long running operation failed with status 'Failed'. Additional Info:'We have a temporary capacity issue with Application Gateways in this region/zone. Please retry after a few days or please try the operation in another region or zone.'
Has anyone else experienced this in eastus2? Are there any workarounds besides deploying in a different region entirely?
