- Is the user signed in with a Microsoft Teams free account or an organizational account?
- What device and operating system is the user using? (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, Chromebook)
- Is the user joining via the Teams desktop app, web browser, or mobile app?
- Has the user updated the Teams desktop app to the newest version?
In the meantime, please try the following steps to reassign the user to the room:
- Navigating to Breakout rooms in the meeting controls > hover over the participant’s name until More options appears next to the participant’s name > select Ask to join.
