This is critical. After the latest update, my wireless mouse & keyboard no longer function correctly. I can barely use my computer AND I can't UNINSTALL the update. Anytime I go to settings or try use a drop down menu, Windows scrolls the entire screen to the bottom (with no input from me) AND/OR it blows me out of dropdown menus. For example, I had to use a mashup of keyboard combinations to SELECT a TAG for this post. Switching back to my USB wired keyboard and mouse works but it sucks.

This all started happening immediately after I restarted my computer to complete the cumulative update. There are no drivers for the keyboard to update or change since it's a very basic wireless setup with USB dongle. Before the update, everything worked great.

    Hi, good day!

When was the last time it worked properly?

I recommend reporting the issue via Feedback Hub app to notify Microsoft.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/send-feedback-to-microsoft-with-the-feedback-hub-app-f59187f8-8739-22d6-ba93-f66612949332

Please try to return to the login screen

While holding the Left Shift key, click the Power icon at the bottom right > Restart

This will bring you to Windows Recovery Environment

Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Uninstall Updates

    Uninstall latest quality update

If this doesn't work, Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore

Select the restore point at an earlier date where everything is still working.

    Click Next then Finish

If the issue is fixed by performing these steps, please try pausing updates for 1 - 2 weeks until Microsoft releases a fix.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

As it turns out, performing a system restore fixed the problem with wireless keyboard. However, system restore in this case was not a full return back to the date of the restore image because the Windows Update that apparently caused the problem was still installed and cannot be uninstalled. (Really Microsoft? This is stupid.) So, there COULD have been something else causing the problem like a different program updating at the same time. Note that the issue started immediately after accepting the Windows updates and restarting.
