Problem in subscribing for the E5

Hello,

I recently joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program in order to explore and learn Power BI and other Microsoft 365 tools for personal development.

However, I received the message:

“You don’t currently qualify for a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription.”

I have selected the correct developer focus and preferences in my profile, but I still don't see the option to provision the sandbox or E5 developer environment.

Could you please help me understand what I need to do in order to qualify?

I would like to access the sandbox and begin working with Power BI as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

    Hi @Θοδώρης Ξένος

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

According to Microsoft 365 Developer Program FAQ | Microsoft Learn, the free Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscriptions may be limited, with priority typically given to:
-Developers with a Visual Studio Enterprise subscription.
-Participants in designated Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Programs.
-Individuals or organizations with verified business identities.

You may consider these alternative options:
-Microsoft 365 Business Standard (30-day free trial) Try or buy a Microsoft 365 for business subscription | Microsoft Learn
-Power Apps Developer Plan (Free) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-apps/

Additionally, please review this article Welcome to the Microsoft 365 Developer Program | Microsoft Learn to ensure you meet all the eligibility requirements.

If you believe you're eligible but still encountering issues, you can submit a support ticket through the Developer Program | Microsoft 365 Dev Center for further assistance.

We hope this information is helpful.
