Request for extension of Azure sponsorship credits due to delay in customer pilots

We recently had several customer pilots delayed, which meant we weren’t able to fully use our Azure sponsorship credits before they expired. These pilots are now set to resume in the coming quarter, and our projected baseline usage is around $10,000/month once they ramp back up.

Without an extension or reissue of the credits, we risk delays in onboarding new customers and scaling workloads. We’re fully committed to Azure as our long-term infrastructure provider, and want to ensure a smooth path forward as we expand.

Has anyone successfully requested a one-time extension (ideally 12 months) or reissue of credits in a similar situation? Any guidance on the process or best way to approach this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

To extend the expiration date of your Azure credits in the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, you will need to progress to the next level in the program. For instance, if you are currently at Level 2, advancing to Level 3 will grant you additional credits along with more time to utilize them. Please note that this is the only way to extend your credits before they expire.

Please refer to following document: How do I get more Azure credits?

Please note that the only way to extend your credits is to reach the next level before your current credits expire.
