Extend our $3,816 Azure credits remaining?

Our startup program expires in September, while we are just starting to onboard our first customers. We are nowhere near being able to pay for Azure as of now, but we would be happy to once we have raised capital. Is there any chance of extending the credits?

To extend the expiration date of your Azure credits in the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, you will need to progress to the next level in the program. For instance, if you are currently at Level 2, advancing to Level 3 will grant you additional credits along with more time to utilize them. Please note that this is the only way to extend your credits before they expire.

Credit Extensions Are Not Automatic:

Once your Azure credits expire, they cannot be reinstated or extended unless you qualify for additional credits by progressing to the next level in the Founders Hub program .

How to Qualify for More Credits

To unlock more time and credits:

Complete all tasks in your Founders Hub verification checklist.

If your current offer is $5,000 or less, you can submit a request for more credits once the checklist is complete .

If your offer is $25,000 or more, your account will be automatically reviewed 45 days before expiration based on your engagement score and task completion .

Additional Path via Usage Milestones

If you're part of the Investor Offer, you can unlock more credits by spending $100 or more in a single calendar month on key Azure services like:

Azure Monitor

Log Analytics

Application Insights

Microsoft Defender for Cloud

Microsoft Sentinel

Microsoft Purview
