My messages always show as sent, but the recipient doesn't receive them. This seriously hinders the already poor communication efficiency. Could you please help me figure out what the reason is? Thank you!

I am using a .outlook personal account. During communication with an enterprise account, I often found that emails were marked as sent, but no rejection or any feedback was received. However, the other party did not receive my emails. It took me two or three attempts for them to receive them. This seriously affected our already low communication efficiency. I also contacted the online support of outlook.com. They couldn't figure out the reason for my account and asked me to come here to provide feedback.

    Hi @Xuhui Wei,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A!

I see you confirmed that the emails were marked as “Sent” and you didn’t receive any Non-Delivery Reports (NDRs). So, in this case, the issue is possibly on the recipient’s side, not yours.

To help resolve this, I recommend formatting your message thread and forwarding it to the recipient and tell them double check with their IT administrator some information bellow:

    1. Check the message trace on their mail server to see if your email was blocked, quarantined, or redirected by any mail flow rules.
    2. Verify if your email was flagged as spam or filtered by security policies.
    3. Whitelist your email address or domain if necessary.

You can also share this link with them to help with message trace: Message trace in the new EAC in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn

Feel free to contact me if there are any further updates on this issue, I'm here to help you further if needed.

    Best Regards
