If I switch windows between a Teams meeting, that meeting pops-out in a small window at the bottom of my screen which is extremely annoying. How to disable this behavior? I do not want a pop out window if I am not on the meeting screen!!

    Hello @Shruti Chandra

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

We understand that this feature can be disruptive to your workflow. Currently, Microsoft Teams is designed to automatically open meetings in a separate window to support multitasking. When you switch away from the meeting screen, a small pop-out window appears to keep the meeting visible.

At this time, there is no built-in setting to disable this feature. However, you may try adjusting the meeting view settings during a call to reduce distractions. For example, selecting “Show only active speaker” or manually minimizing the meeting window.

We truly value your feedback. If this behavior is affecting your experience, we highly encourage you to submit feedback directly to Microsoft via the Teams app (Feedback > Suggest a feature). The more users who share similar concerns, the higher the chance this feature will be reconsidered in future updates.
