Trying to install Epson Picturemate photo printer onto windows 10 computers. Getting error messages

Trying to install older epson picturemate photo printer onto windows 10 computers. Downloaded drivers and software from the epson website. Installed the driver. Went to start up software, and got error message saying to reboot computer after installing some kind of module. Tried to install on 2 different windows 10 computers, getting same error. Contacted epson support, and they said they could not supply drivers for windows 10, and that I was to contact MS and ask for drivers. Has anybody had this kind of thing happen to them? Where would i get a driver for windows 10 to install this old printer??
