I once played around with a test boot from a USB stick into Linux. After I was done, the Lenovo laptop forced me to enter my Bitlocker key to gain access again. In the Bitlocker boot message were the directions to view and access the key which was tied to my Microsoft account. In a few minutes I was back booting into Windows 11. Do you have a Microsoft account tied to the laptop you are running Windows from?
Lost bitlocker recovery key and unable to boot laptop
Hi,
I have a HP PC that had some issue and the TPM got cleared, which triggered the bitlocker key prompt. I tried all possible solutions I got on internet and concluded that the bitlocker recovery key is lost and I have no way to recover it anyhow.
How do I unlock my drives? Due to locked volumes, I am not able to reload windows or repair windows.

Please note that clearing TPM memory will cause you to lose all TPM keys and will trigger the BitLocker encryption. If you do not have the BitLocker recovery key stored in your Microsoft account. Reinstalling Windows will be the only option here.
