Thanks for reaching out. Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through this.

Before we proceed, let me ask a few questions to narrow this down.

    1. Are you trying to download ClipGrab from the official site or from another source?
    2. What error do you see when the download fails, for example, blocked by the browser, corrupted file, or installation won’t start?
    3. Which browser are you using to download? And have you tried using a different browser?
    4. Do you have any antivirus or security programs that might be blocking the download?
    5. Is your Windows 11 fully updated?
    6. How much free storage space is available on your PC?

While waiting for your reply, here’s what you can try right now:

Step 1. Download from the official ClipGrab website

Go to https://clipgrab.org and download directly. Avoid third-party sites, as they may bundle unwanted software.

Be cautious with third-party downloaders. Always back up your files first and make sure you install from trusted sources only.

Step 2. If you see a warning that the file is unsafe, choose Keep if you trust the source. This often happens with lesser-known apps.

Note: Microsoft and community advisors cannot guarantee the performance, security, or privacy practices of these apps. Use of third-party apps is at your own discretion and risk.

Step 3. Temporarily disable antivirus or SmartScreen

If you are comfortable, disable them just during installation, then re-enable afterwards.

Step 4. If the download is successful, right-click the installer and select Run as administrator to give proper permissions.

Step 5. Make sure you have at least a few hundred MB of free space for both the installer and the music files you want to download. If storage is low, clear out temp files or unused apps.

Step 6. If the download continues to fail, you can use Microsoft Edge’s built-in tool called Clipchamp for video and audio, or check official app stores for safer alternatives.

Let me know the answers to the questions above and how these steps go.

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

    Hi J,

Thanks for getting back with the details, and you are most welcome.

Please try downloading again using a different browser and temporarily disabling Norton to see if that clears the error.

If it still fails, you can also try a clean boot to rule out background apps interfering:

    1. Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

Go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.

Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager.

Disable all listed startup items, then restart your PC and try again.

This will start Windows with minimal background processes and can help isolate what’s blocking the download.

Let me know how it goes after these steps.
