I tried to install some apps to my pc via google and it surprised me that almost everyone ended up failed with the code 0x8024500. I searched online for a cure but it seemed that most people encountered it as a update error and anyway I failed as well. I am now a fish out of the water. Hope you can help me and sincere thanks!

Hi there, this is Marc. Thanks for reaching out to the community.

Error 0x8024500c in Windows 10 usually points to issues with the Microsoft Store or Windows Update components, such as a corrupted cache, incomplete updates, or stopped services.

    Start with the built‑in troubleshooters:

    1. Go to Settings → Update & Security → Troubleshoot → Additional troubleshooters.
    2. Run both Windows Store Apps and Windows Update troubleshooters and apply any recommended fixes.

If the issue remains, reset the Microsoft Store cache by pressing Windows + R, typing wsreset.exe, and pressing Enter.

    Best regards,
