Dear Microsoft Q&A Support,

We are currently using a Poly Trio device for our calls, and we’ve encountered a recurring issue where our voice sounds robotic and distorted during conversations. This severely affects call clarity, making it difficult for others to understand us.

We’ve verified that the issue is consistent across multiple calls and environments. Could you please advise on potential causes or troubleshooting steps to resolve this?

Looking forward to your guidance.

    Hi @Antash Javed,

Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A Community. We're happy to help you with your concern.

To help us better understand and troubleshoot the robotic/distorted voice problem, could you please clarify a few points:

1/ Are you using a wired or wireless connection during these calls?

Have you noticed any network instability or high latency during the affected calls?

2/ Is the Poly Trio device running the latest firmware?

Are you using it in USB mode, SIP mode, or via Teams Rooms integration?

3/ Does the issue occur only with Teams calls, or also with other platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex)?

Is it affecting all participants using the Poly Trio, or just specific individuals?

4/ Are there any noticeable patterns (such as specific rooms, times of day, or call types) when the issue occurs?

5/ Are you using any external microphones, speakers, or audio processors with the Poly Trio?

Once we have this information, we’ll be in a better position to guide you through targeted troubleshooting steps.

    Looking forward to your reply.
