I'm using a Surface Pro 11 ARM version. The Type Cover I've been using since the Surface Pro 9 doesn't have the Copilot button. When I connect the Type Cover to the device, the touchpad gets hot, not the screen. This doesn't happen all the time, but intermittently. This didn't happen at all when I used it with the Surface Pro 9. Is this a Surface Pro 11 issue or a Type Cover issue?

It doesn't matter if you have copilot key or not. It's just a key.
No, the problem I'm talking about isn't the lack of copilot keys on the keyboard. The problem I'm talking about is that the touchpad on the keyboard intermittently gets quite hot. This may be a specific keyboard issue, so I'm just letting you know which one it is.
It's not common for touchpad on type cover to get very hot. Especially if Surface Pro itself is not hot. If possible, try to find, borrow type cover from someone else, or to ask in a store, and test it to make sure where the problem is: type cover or surface itself.
