How do I install Microsoft 365 Family on a new computer

I have an annual subscription for Microsoft 365 and want to install on the Hard Drive of a new computer. The subscription is attached to my Hotmail.com email address. I have tried installing using the method described on a Google search "How to install Microsoft on a new computer". Steps :

Go to Office.com

Sign In

Install Office/Install Applicator

At this point nothing goes right. The only Options are "Install Apps" but nowhere after this does it have any more instructions. No idea where to go and none of the Microsoft sections can help. I Need to install the Apps : Outlook, Word, Excel, Access.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Before installing, it’s a good idea to uninstall any existing versions of Office to avoid conflicts.

Here’s how:

Open the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Look for any version of Microsoft Office or Office apps, right-click, then choose Uninstall.
Once that’s done, restart your computer just to be safe.

Then, to reinstall Microsoft 365:

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services
Sign in using the same Microsoft account linked to your subscription.
Find your Microsoft 365 subscription and click the "Install" button.
That will download the installer for the Office apps, just run it and follow the steps.
