Dear Waterbeast,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A.
That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially since you've already gone through so many of the standard troubleshooting steps.
- Reinstalling gaming services using PowerShell:
- Press Windows + X, select Terminal (Admin)
- Run this command:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
- Continue to run this command to clear the Windows Store cache:
wsreset.exe
- Restart your computer
- After restarting, open the Xbox app. It should detect that Gaming Services is missing and prompt you to install it. If it doesn't, you can start the install manually by typing the following command into the same PowerShell (Admin) window:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
- This will open the Microsoft Store page for Gaming Services. Click Install.
- Once installed, try logging into the Xbox app again.
- Create a new local user account:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
- Under "Other users," click "Add account".
- Select "I don't have this person's sign-in information" and then "Add a user without a Microsoft account".
- Create a temporary local user (e.g., username "Test" and a simple password).
- Log out of your current account and log into the new "Test" account.
- Open the Microsoft Store and Xbox app. You will need to sign in with your Microsoft account here.
- See if everything works correctly in this new profile.
If nothing works, you can also try to fix the issue by performing an In-place Upgrade. Please read this Reinstall Windows with the installation media - Microsoft Support
Disclaimer: Let's try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back up it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides: How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Q&A
