    Hi,

I'm Sumit, here to help with your query on the Microsoft Q&A forums.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

Audacity recommends to delete the following folders in these cases:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Audacity

    and

    **%appdata%**audacity folder.

Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

    Type/paste the path.

    Press Enter.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.

Try starting setup from the classic Control Panel and see if that works better. In the Run dialog box (Windows logo key + R), type appwiz.cpl and press Enter. In the Uninstall or change a program dialog box, click the program and see if you have more luck there.
