Dear Microsoft team

Hope you are doing well.

We have earlier case regarding the MS team's issue but still we didn't get any response.

The internet bandwidth is stable and shows no high utilization, we are still experiencing issues with MS Teams.

We currently have a firewall on the premises. Do we need to allow any specific ports for MS Teams to function properly?

Looking forward to your guidance.

    Dear @Anwar Mohammed,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum!

According to your description, I understand that you're running into some trouble with MS Teams calls being on hold despite having stable internet bandwidth. And it appears this issue has been persisting for quite some time.

First of all, let us apologize for the repetition of this problem. No explanation is worth it when a technical glitch affects core functionality for an extended period of time, but we want you to know that the engineering team has been working intensively on this issue for some time and has recently sped up the process of fixing it. As frontline support staff, we are organizing use cases and collecting data, including from you, on a daily basis and will continue to monitor the progress of this issue.

In this case, I sincerely recommend you try some steps below:

1.Navigate to bottom right corner of the screen, right click on Teams icon and select Collect Support Files

    User's image

    • Go to Downloads folder, you will see 2 folders as below. Please allow few minutes for the files to appear here.
    • You can upload the 2 folders to the ticket for the technical engineer to investigate the issue. If the size is too big, kindly zip/compress them before uploading.
    • Navigate to bottom right corner of the screen, right click on Teams icon and select Collect Support Files

    2.Contact Microsoft support:

Moreover, according to my research, I have seen there are many users also report this issue, this might be an incident. I recommend we log an official case so engineering can grab server-side traces:

    • Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to check the Service Health Dashboard and, regardless of current notices, use Admin Center to open a ticket under Microsoft 365 apps / Teams. (Note: If you are user, please ask your admin to do). Go to Admin Center > Service Health > Report an issue

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

I'm looking forward for your reply.
