You asked how to uninstall Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Copilot on Windows 11.
Here are some steps that you can kindly follow:
- Uninstall Microsoft 365 Microsoft 365 can be removed using the Settings app or Control Panel: Method A: Settings App
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Navigate to Apps → Installed Apps.
- Scroll down or search for Microsoft 365.
- Click the three dots (…) next to it and select Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen prompts and restart your PC
- If the above leaves residual files, download and run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for a clean uninstall.
- Remove OneDrive:
- Press Windows + I → Apps → Installed Apps.
- Find Microsoft OneDrive, click the three dots, and select Uninstall.
- Confirm and restart your PC.
- Tip: If you only want to stop syncing without uninstalling, open OneDrive settings → Account → Unlink this.
- Disable or Remove Copilot:
- Option A: Settings
- Go to Settings → Personalization → Taskbar and toggle Copilot off
- Option B: Registry Editor (Advanced)
- Press Windows + R, type
regedit
, and press Enter. - Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows
- Create a new key named WindowsCopilot.
- Inside it, create a DWORD (32-bit) value named
TurnOffWindowsCopilot
and set it to 1. - Restart your PC.
- Press Windows + R, type
NOTE:
- Updates may reinstall Copilot or OneDrive. To prevent this, you may need to disable them via Group Policy or registry tweaks.
- If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, cancel or switch plans at account.microsoft.com/services to avoid charges.
