I have a msa that is set up with 2 step verification. I tried the sign in helper which shows my account is blocked…tried resetting the pw, I use the email option then it asks me to use the phone number option in addition, when I try that I get “can’t use…I’m however logged in to the email on my phone….i can’t lose access because all my important information goes to this account….i just need help resetting the pw so I can access the account on my other devices and have a sense of security that I have a saved pw and an account that isn’t blocked….

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this problem. I understand how important recovering your account is to you.

If you have 2FA enabled, are you able to access the second factor of authentication? If so, please try resetting your password.

Detailed steps on how to reset your password can be found in the following support article: https://support.microsoft.com/office/eff4f067-5042-c1a3-fe72-b04d60556c37

If you're having trouble verifying your identity using the recovery phone number or email address, you can fill out the account reinstatement form here to review why Microsoft disabled your account.

Note - You cannot use the account recovery form here because you've enabled two-step verification.

    Account reinstatement form - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/concern/AccountReinstatement

Please be patient after filling out the Account reinstatement form. You will usually receive a response within 24 hours. Please check your junk or spam email folders regularly.

Note - This is a peer-to-peer support forum. Account or billing-related queries fall outside the scope of our community guidelines, as they usually require sharing personal information. Posting such details in a public forum poses security risks and violates Microsoft’s terms and conditions. For this reason, we can only offer general guidance on how to recover your account.

Let me know if you still need more help.
