I really don't know what I have to be honest.

My JBL speaker disconnects after stopping a video 2 times while watching YouTube. I am not even gone a long time.

In order for the speaker to work again, I have to close the lid on my lap top and it will work again. Not resetting and connecting and reconnecting does it work. Please help me. This has happened several times in the last few days. Now it happens all the time.

    Dear Kathleen Petty,

Based on your description, it appears that the speaker disconnects after stopping a video multiple times, and only resumes functioning after closing and reopening your laptop lid. This behavior has been reported by other users and may be related to a combination of Bluetooth power management settings and browser activity.

    A) Recommended Steps to Resolve the Issue:

    1. Disable Bluetooth Power Saving Features Go to Device Manager > Bluetooth > [Your JBL Device] > Properties > Power Management Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”
    2. Update Bluetooth Drivers Visit your laptop manufacturer’s support site to download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers compatible with Windows 10 Restart your device after installation
    3. Disable Hardware Acceleration in Browser
      • In Chrome or Edge: Go to Settings > System Toggle off “Use hardware acceleration when available” Restart the browser
    4. Prevent System from Suspending Bluetooth Open Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Advanced settings Under Wireless Adapter Settings > Power Saving Mode, set to Maximum Performance
    5. Test with Alternate Browsers or Media Players Try using a different browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge) or media platform to determine if the issue is browser-specific

I hope this helps. Just kindly tick Accept Answer that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
