Hello!

I am facing a serious problem and I am asking for your help. I received a laptop from work and asked a colleague to install it for me. He created a gmail account with my name, but the data he used to create this account was fictitious (last name, first name, date of birth, etc.) and he doesn't even remember it. He didn't think I would encounter these difficulties now. Now my laptop has a problem, I took it to a service center, but there the pin was no longer recognized by the device. I have important data on this laptop, I am a professor, I have my college courses, documents, including my doctoral thesis. I tried to recover the (PII Removed) account but it was impossible. I only receive messages from the Microsoft team saying that the data I am entering is invalid. Please help me recover the data of this gmail account, in order to have access to my data on my laptop again. How do I proceed? What data should I provide you, to prove that it belongs to me?

Sincerely, Daniela Bobocea

    Hello!

    I'm Yasllame.

I'm happy to help and clarify.

And it is indeed delicate because the Gmail account was created with fictitious information, and you need access to important files on your laptop. Unfortunately, if the original information used to create the Gmail account is false and no longer accessible, there is no direct way to recover the account. Google requires verifiable information to confirm ownership, such as the correct date of birth, recovery phone number, recovery email, or security questions. Without this information, the automated recovery system cannot grant access.

What you can do now is first check if there are other saved logins on the laptop. Many laptops keep Gmail sessions or browser caches. Try opening Gmail in a browser that was already used on the laptop, or see if any passwords are saved in Chrome or another password manager that could help you log in.

It is also important to access your local files. If you had important documents on the laptop, like coursework or your dissertation, they can be accessed directly on the device regardless of Gmail. Use backup tools or file transfer methods to copy these files to another computer or an external drive.

You can also discuss the situation with the technical support or repair service. Explain that you need access to the local files and not the Gmail account, and ask if they can help unlock the laptop or recover the PIN in some way.

Finally, for future use, create a new Gmail account with your real information and link it to important services, ensuring you have full control over the account. For extremely important documents like your dissertation, recovery will rely entirely on physical access to the laptop or existing backups, because Google cannot provide access to an account created with fictitious information without verifiable proof of ownership.

I hope this information was helpful! If you need anything else, I'm here.

    Sincerely,

    Yasllame
