My laptop crashed and I had to buy a new laptop without CD slot. But I do have OFFICE 2010 Professional Plus in CD and can't install it. What should I do?

Please contact me either through email at [Moderator note: personal information removed]

Thanks,

Shoaib.

You have to find a separate CD or DVD player which you can connect to your PC and then install Office. You may want to copy the installation files to your hard drive so that you do not have to depend on the CD in the future.

After a successful installation, if you run into trouble activating Office 2010, try phone activation using the appropriate number for your region from the article at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/-telephone-activation-is-no-longer-supported-for-your-product-error-when-activating-office-9b016cd2-0811-4cb3-b896-5a6a13177713 .
