Hello. Can you check in Device Manager if your TP-Link adapter shows up as “Generic USB Bluetooth Adapter” or with the TP-Link name?
In the meantime, try these steps:
- Open Device Manager, expand “Bluetooth,” right-click “Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator” and choose Disable.
- Still in Device Manager, find the “Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp Source,” right-click > Update Driver > Browse > Let me pick, and select “Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP Source).”
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options > “Choose what the power buttons do” and uncheck “Turn on fast startup,” then reboot and re-pair your headphones.
Disabling the LE Enumerator prevents Windows from forcing the low-energy profile, manually picking A2DP forces the stereo driver, and turning off Fast Startup clears any cached mis-binding so Windows starts fresh.
Let me know what driver name shows up for the dongle and if the stereo device appears after these steps.
